Player Unknown's Battlegrounds (PubG)

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) is an online multiplayer battle royale game developed and published by PUBG Corporation, a subsidiary of South Korean video game company Bluehole. The game is based on previous mods that were created by Brendan "PlayerUnknown" Greene for other games using the film Battle Royale for inspiration, and expanded into a standalone game under Greene's creative direction. In the game, up to one hundred players parachute onto an island and scavenge for weapons and equipment to kill others while avoiding getting killed themselves. The available safe area of the game's map decreases in size over time, directing surviving players into tighter areas to force encounters. The last player or team standing wins the round.
The game was released for Microsoft Windows via Steam's early access beta program in March 2017, with a full release on December 20, 2017. That same month, the game was released by Microsoft Studios for the Xbox One via its Xbox Game Preview program, and officially released in September 2018. In early 2018, it was localized and released by Tencent Games in China, while two mobile versions based on the game for Android and iOS were also released. The game is one of the best-selling of all time, with over fifty million sold across all platforms by June 2018. In addition, the Windows version holds a peak concurrent player count of over three million on Steam, which is an all-time high on the platform.
Battlegrounds received positive reception from critics during both its early access period and on official release, who found that while the game still was not fully finished and had some technical flaws, Battlegrounds presented new types of gameplay that could be easily approached by players of any skill level and was highly replayable. The game received several Game of the Year nominations among other accolades, and is considered by Greene to be the defining game of the battle royale genre. Several other video games, following in Battlegrounds's success, added battle royale-style modes, while a number of clones, primarily out of China, also appeared. PUBG Corporation has run several small tournaments and introduced in-game tools to help with broadcasting the game to spectators, as they wish for it to become a popular eSport.

Revenue & Users:

has amassed more than 400 million players across all currently available platforms, developer PUBG Corp. announced today. That figure includes more than 50 million copies of the game sold on Windows PC and Xbox One, the company said.
That means that somewhere around 350 million of those total players are playing the game on mobile devices. PUBG is available on Android and iOS as a free-to-download game.
According to announcement from PUBG Corp., PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds draws more than 87 million players each day across all platforms and 227 million players per month.
In March, PUBG creator Brendan Greene said at the Game Developers Conference that his battle royale game had sold 40 million copies in its first year.
In an effort to sell even more, the game’s publisher is discounting the game on Steam for a limited time. PUBG for PC on Steam is on sale for $19.99 (33 percent off its regular price). This Friday, June 22, PUBG Corp. will release a new map for the game named Sanhok.
It is estimated profit of $1.9Billion.
PUBG is fast growing app ever on Play store.

PUBG Minimum Requirements: PC Specifications

The PUBG minimum requirements for PC aren’t as extreme as you might expect. While you will need to drop the quality settings down considerably for a smooth frame-rate, this actually reduces a lot of the distracting effects, making it easier to spot players. (I have a decent rig, and I still put everything on “Low” and “Off” for clearest visuals and highest possible frame-rate.)
Here are the PUBG minimum requirements for PC:
  • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
  • OS: 64-bit Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10
  • Processor: Intel Core i3-4340 / AMD FX-6300
  • Memory: 6 GB RAM
  • Graphics: nVidia GeForce GTX 660 2GB / AMD Radeon HD 7850 2GB
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Network: Broadband Internet connection
  • Storage: 30 GB available space

PUBG Minimum Requirements: PUBG Mobile

pubg minimum requirements

PUBG Mobile is compatible with the iPhone 5S and above, so long as they are running software version 9.0 or later. Performance-wise, players may experience a few hiccups on the 5S, with the iPhone 6 being recommended for smoother gameplay.
Those hoping to play PUBG Mobile on an Android device will be happy to learn that over 500 Android phones are compatible. You’ll just need to ensure that the device is running 5.1.1 Lollipop or later, and rocks at least 2 GB RAM.

PUBG Minimum Requirements: Xbox One

PUBG is available for the original Xbox One, Xbox One S, and Xbox One X. You will, of course, get better visuals and (generally) better performance on the Xbox One X version, but all of Microsoft’s consoles are compatible.
